Keith McDonald

Keith is a self-proclaimed sucker for big melodies, thought provoking songs and songs with great narratives. His musical influences have been shaped by a wide range of musical styles and artists; from classic R&B (Curtis Mayfield, Steve Wonder) and classic Blues (Lightning John Hopkins, Buddy Guy, Keb Mo), to R&B/Neo Soul (Maxwell, D’Angelo, Dionne Farris, Desiree, Alana Davis), and Folk/Rock (David Ryan Harris (formally of Follow For Now), Living Color, Tom Waits, Ani Difranco, Seal, Ben Harper, John Mayer). His experience has been that of a singer songwriter, writing and performing songs since 1995 throughout the Southeast (Atlanta,GA & Charleston, SC) and in the Seattle area where he now resides. He and his twin brother, Ken, formed Kaymak in 2007.




Ken McDonald

Born in Detroit-lived all over the U.S.- settled in CA, Ken started playing music when he picked up a guitar while in the Navy. Primarily a guitarist, he switched over to bass to help create the Kaymak sound.




David Campbell

Began playing percussion in 9th grade with the Mercer Island High School Steel Drum Band. In college he started playing out in the Seattle area with the hip hop group Subdwellers and has played alongside national acts: Sugerhill Gang, Tha Alkoholiks, Orgone and Ike Willis and such regional acts as Five Fingers of Funk, Super Sonic Soul Pimps, Green Apple Quickstep, and 'Ol Dominion. After transferring to the University of Montana, David played with the percussion ensemble under Dr. Robert Ledbetter, became reacquainted with steel drums and played alongside Grammy award winning percussionist, Lalo Davila, drummer Heracio ‘El Negro’ Hernandez, and Julie Spencer. Upon returning to Seattle he has shared the stage with some of Seattle’s finest musicians, most recently playing with Altered States of Funk, Linda Enns, Kaymak, and Funkscribe. David's drumming is influenced by Stanton Moore, Will Calhoun, and ? Love.





Jeremy King

Jeremy King’s career has encompassed rock, jazz, fusion and progressive rock. He began playing live and recorded his first original album at the age of fifteen. A Seattle area native and local musical mainstay, he has performed in numerous projects over the years including Harbor, Five Minute Fall, The Anunnaki and The Space Park. His wide-ranging styles and compositional excellence are apparent throughout his body of work. Jeremy has excelled playing in both live and studio settings for the past three decades.
